Paradise Recovery Housing provides a stable, safe, and supportive community to help residents maintain successful long-term recovery from mood-altering substances. At our recovery residence, you are accountable to your peers, the residence manager, and the rest of the Paradise Recovery Housing staff — built on people helping people.
Your phase is directly tied to your work in recovery. Residents must remain on a phase for at least 30 days before requesting to phase up, and cannot skip phases.
We accommodate men 18 years of age and older with a problem with drug and/or alcohol abuse (and some with a co-occurring mental health disorder). Admission requires abstinence from all mood- or mind-altering substances for a minimum of 30 days.
Disqualifying factors include: use of replacement drug therapy (e.g. Methadone, Suboxone), sex offender offenses, violent criminal offenses, graveyard-shift employment, bartending employment, and inability to pay program fees.
Program fees are due at admission and paid in advance for each service period going forward. Residents who cannot pay at the time fees are due must make a payment arrangement in writing with the Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA).
Paradise Recovery Housing is committed to the support and protection of the fundamental human, civil, constitutional, and statutory rights of each of our residents.
There is no fixed length of stay. The program is designed around the phase system, with a minimum of 30 days at each phase before phasing up, and no skipping phases. Residents typically remain in the program until they have completed senior peer status and are ready to live independently while maintaining their recovery.
